Cooking, Surfing the Net or Reading? Oral Test

Cooking, Surfing the Net or Reading? is an oral test for Intermediate students. It’s been designed for three. However, two can do it just as well: all you’ve got to do is get rid of one of the cue cards.

The instructions are as follows: Read task #1 and speak about the topic for a minute or two. The questions are there to help you, not to stifle you.

Now read task #2. Imagine you are playing a role in a school pageant. Four of the traits your character possesses are positive, the fifth one is negative. This last one will enable you to find some common ground with your adversaries. Discuss for about six minutes. You don’t have to reach an agreement, but should arrive at some sort of conclusion.
